Room for Repose

The room for Repose is a rentable space in an airport that weary travelers can rent during flight layovers without having to check into a hotel for a full night. The room design is divided up into 4 quadrants to individually separate relaxation into basic programatic zones: work, rest, bath, and lavatory. By separating the programs into specific spaces, occupants are required to make conscious decisions about what they are doing. Multi-tasking is de-prioritized in this space so that users can forget the stresses of travel and truly practice the art of repose.
